Lori Makarski Cavitt, MS, DVM, cVMA:

Dr. Cavitt is a native to Henderson, where she attended kindergarden through high school.  After graduating High School, she attended Texas A&M University to complete her Bachelor's and Master's degrees, before attending veterinary school.  She is a member of the AVMA and TVMA.  She and her husband, who is also a veterinarian, currently live in Troup, TX with their twin boys and three dogs.  She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the East Texas area since 2007.  Dr. Cavitt has a special interest in geriatric care, cardiology, allergies, pain management, stem cell therapy, medical acupuncture, as well as large and small animal reproduction.  She enjoys working with 4-H and FFA students, as she believes they are an important part of the agriculture future.  In her spare time, Dr. Cavitt enjoys any outdoor sport, water skiing and wakeboarding, tending to her chickens, and shopping.

David Corley, D.V.M.:

David Corley, D.V.M. has practiced veterinary medicine in Henderson since 1982.  He is married to Teri, and has four children: Jennifer, Philip, Staci, and Cody; 5 grandchildren: Taylor, Carter, Rayna, Graham, and Caroline.  Dr. Lloyd Legg and Dr. Corley opened HACH in January of 1991 and built the current hospital in 1993.  Dr. Corley attended North Western State University, East Texas State University, Baylor University, and graduated from Kilgore College and Texas A&M University.  He is a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 8535 and the National Guard Association of Texas.  He is also a memeber of the ETVMA, TVMA, AVMA, and the Society of Theriogenology.  He founded and is president of Rusk County Animal Outreach (a nonprofit organization started in 1994, committed to preventing cruelty to animals here in Rusk County.)  He mentored over 250 High School students through his Boyscout Explorer Post from 1984 to 1996 (including his associate, Dr. Cavitt).  Dr. Corley served his country for 9 years in the Army, National Guard, and the Army Reserves.  He also spent 10 years volunteering at the Henderson Animal Shelter, performing spays and neuters for over 2200 dogs and cats that were adopted from that facility.  His favorite past times are spending time with his grandchildren, cattle ranching, fishing, and visiting with family and friends.  His email address is vetcorley@earthlink.net


Tammy has been married to her husband Jeff since 2008.  They have 1 daughter and 2
 granddaughters, Kaylee and Madison who they adore.  They also have 6 spoiled dogs and 2 parrots that keep them busy.  She has worked for HACH since December of 2002.  Her lap dog Kujo is pictured with her. Tammy also enjoys wildlife rehabbing orphaned baby squirrels, baby possums, baby raccoons, bunnies and baby songbirds.



Tracy was born and raised in Henderson.  She has a son and daughter-in-law, and one grandson, Bentley.  She lived in Kansas for 12 years, working for an animal hospital.  She has been working at Henderson Animal Care Hospital since 2009.  She is pictured with her friend and companion for over 8 years, Sable.


Eileen grew up in Memphis, Tennessee.  After high school, she attended Murray State University in Murray, KY, where she studied animal health.  After graduation, she married A.J. Meals, and worked as a veterinary technician in Memphis.  Eileen and A.J. have lived in Kilgore since 2009, along with their three children, Robbie, James, and Evelyn and two sweet cats, Cricket and Solomon.  Eileen and her family attend First Pentecostal Church of Kilgore.  Eileen enjoys being a part of the HACH staff, of which she has been a member since September 2010.  She looks forward to meeting you and your pet! Scott has been with HACH since 2007 working as a large animal tech and helping out with small animals. Scott joined the Army and went to service in 2013-2017. Afterwards, he decided to return to work and attend college and better his life as a safety man. He enjoys spending time with his Wife whom he married in August of 2015, and spending time outside working in the yard putting up fence. Scott also enjoys tending to his goats when he has free time. Here at HACH we have grown to love his personality and his extra hand around the clinic come down here and visit Scott and his friendly smile.


Halie was born in Henderson and graduated Henderson High School in 2014. She obtained her Phlebotomy certificate and license from Kilgore College in 2015. Halie is one of our receptionist and has been with HACH since January of 2017, and LOVES IT! She loves meeting new people and the multiple species that come into the clinic.



Amber was raised in Gladewater.  She currently lives in Troup where she raises two beautiful daughters. Amber enjoys being outside with her sheep and all of her pets including Cotton, Speckelton, Longstreet, Rumor,Capone, and Twitch. Amber is currently attending school to receive her RVT. She is one of our vet techs here at HACH making dogs and cats feel brand new. Amber attends Gospel barn and teaches pre-teen Sunday school. Ashley P: V.A.

Ashley grew up in Henderson attending High school and obtained her Veterinary Assistant degree. Being a Technician has been her dream. She joined our team in 2012. While here she has made new pet friends which turn into family and clients who have turned into best friends. (Ashley Loves her dream Job!!) She is married to Phillip Patterson and together they 2 children Havanna Marie Patterson and Phillip James Jamal Patterson. In her spare time she loves to ride horses, read books, and spend time with her family. Ashley loves what she does and cares deeply for every pet she sees and touches!! Nikki graduated from Kilgore High School and is planning on attending UT Tyler.  She has two dogs, Roxie and Rocco, and a cat, Kitana.  Nikki started working for HACH in February 2015 and has truly enjoyed her time here. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and kayaking.  She hopes to bring joy and a pleasant experience to clients and their pets.


Hunter was raised in Henderson, TX and graduated from Carlisle High School in 2013. Hunter attends Bar None Church were he ministers to youth and host various events. Hunter is one of our large animal technicians and has been with our team since 2012. Outside of work, he enjoys raising "genetically black bovine beauties". Hunter also enjoys riding horses and lending a helping hand outside of work. Hunter is all around a handy man to have around. Come see Hunter and you will never forget a nicer young man.
