Animal Anesthesia

We utilize the safest anesthetics available to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. We also recommend pre-anesthetic diagnostic tests in order to determine the safest protocol of anesthesia for your particular pet.

Internal medicine

Our veterinarians are experienced in internal medicine.  We offer a wide array of diagnostics and treatment options for the most difficult cases.  Our ICU houses our internal medicine cases where our motivated staff can keep a close eye on your loved one.  We have camera access to our ICU patients 24 hours a day.

   
X-Ray Services

Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high-quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
   
Animal Dentistry/Teeth Cleaning

Our dental services include ultrasonic teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions, and minor oral surgery.

   
In-House Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

We offer microchip identification. 
    
Animal Pharmacy

We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, tasty chews and topical medications for hard to medicate dogs and cats. If online is easier, we also have an online pharmacy.

   
Individualized Flea Control Programs

We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard, and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling

We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, and performance. We offer Hill's Science Diet and Hill's Prescription Diets, Royal Canin Veterinary Diet, and select types of Purina ProPlan Veterinary Diet.

 

Animal Ultrasound

We have a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine to provide even faster and more appropriate diagnoses.  We can perform abdominal ultrasounds to search for several disease states, as well as pregnancy determination.  We also ultrasound the bovine and equine reproductive tracts for pre-breeding evaluations and pregnancy determination.  Small ruminants and camelids are also included in our ultrasound uses.

 

Animal Laser Therapy

Our cold laser therapy is designed to help dogs, cats, horses, and cows with chronic arthritis pain, wound healing, and post-surgical care.  It also speeds the healing of ear infections and inflammation, helps decrease the pain and infection in anal sacculitis, as well as decreasing inflammation in dental procedures.

Pet Boarding and Day Fun

We have clean, spacious animal boarding facilities.  Pets receive individualized, personal care from our staff while here.  We can administer medications and also notice medical issues if they should arise while boarding.  During the day, pets are allowed outside in a fenced, controlled, and monitored environment for extra exercise.  We also offer a time to pick-up your pet on Sundays.

Pet Grooming

Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.  Our groomer provides our clients with specialty cuts, shaving, and bathing.  She can also give medicated baths under the direction of our veterinary staff.

Animal Reproductive Services

We provide specialty reproductive services for our small animal clients and routine artificial insemination services for our equine clients.  Specialty small animal reproductive services include same-day progesterone analysis, artificial insemination with fresh and cooled shipped semen, as well as surgical artificial insemination with frozen semen.  We can also collect semen for same day insemination.  Pregnancy determination as early as 15 days.  Please call for more information.

Veterinary TeleMedicine Services

For follow-up appointments, surgery rechecks, questions, etc., we have the TeleVet app available to either video conference or text a veterinarian as opposed to bringing the patient into the hospital.  The app is also available for NON-life-threatening emergencies and emergency consults.
